FAQs

What’s the standard business card size?

The standard business card size is 3-1/2″W x 2”H. This is the finished size, so be sure to consider a 0.125” bleed as you design your business cards with our predetermined sizes or custom dimensions.

What’s a typical order quantity for foil business cards?

For business card printing, the minimum order quantity is 50. People typically begin with 250 or 500 business cards, depending on their profession, industry and how they plan to use them.

How do I specify where the foil goes on my print-ready file?

You can indicate where you’d like foil to go by adding foil layers to your file. Be sure to include the foil layers in your PDF, along with high resolution images in the CMYK color space with the appropriate bleed.

What’s the difference between business cards and premium business cards?

Our business cards and premium business cards are similar but premium business cards offer even more ways to customize, including a wider variety of paper stocks and ink choices.

What’s the difference between simple and complex digital laser cutting?

For business card printing, choose simple die cutting for shapes like circles, ovals, squares and rectangles. Choose complex die cutting for any shapes or cuts more intricate than that.

Business cards also offer variable finishing, which allows you to personalize them with laser cut names or other information, along with your simple or complex cuts.
