Project Spotlight: Ker & Downey
As a designer for an award-winning luxury tour operator, Amy Willis created this beautiful saddle stitched booklet to promote Egypt as a luxury tour destination. The booklets were distributed at a large trade show in Cape Town.
Designed for impact and practicality
Amy designed this piece at the unique 10 x 8” horizontal size in order to maximize the use of large landscape photos. This not only increased the visual impact of the booklet, but was a convenient size for tradeshow-goers to tuck away in a bag. Amy credits her photographer for the breathtaking images: “...they made the book particularly come alive. Basically, if you look at the picture and say, ‘I wanna go there,’ that’s the goal.”
Sophistication is in the details
Amy chose Premium Matte 100# Cover for the cover and Premium Matte 100# Text for the interior of this 16-page booklet. She feels as though the smooth, matte stock adds a level of sophistication to the finished piece. Printed in full color on our HP Indigo press, the vibrant colors jump right off the page.
Collectors' edition meets selling tool
