What types of custom feather flags are available?
Our custom feather flags are available for online printing in three different shapes (razor, sabre and teardrop), and one-sided or two-sided printing options. These indoor and outdoor banners come in predetermined sizes ranging from 6 to 17 feet long, making them a versatile option for events, promotions and business locations.
What material is used for feather flag printing?
We offer custom feather flag printing on durable 4 oz. soft flag fabric. This premium, high-performance material is ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Learn more: Banner Materials & Sign Substrates
Do I need to include bleed?
Yes. When creating your print-ready design file, follow the layout guide template and allow for a 0.5″ bleed along the pole edges and a 1″ bleed along all outer hemmed edges. Black reinforced edging is added to the appropriate side and top curve of the material to create a pocket for the included flagpole. Learn more: Bleeds & Borders
Can you print double-sided feather flag banners?
Yes. We offer both one-sided and two-sided feather flags, and both options use dye sublimation printing for vibrant color and durability. Two-sided feather flags feature a blackout liner to help ensure designs and messages on each side remain clearly visible. Learn more: Dye Sublimation Printing
Does my flag come with a pole and base? A carrying case?
Feather flags do not automatically come with a pole and base. You can add these accessories to your order using the Flag Pole and Flag Base dropdowns on the product page. Choose a pole that matches your flag size and select from four base options.
A soft-sided carrying case is included when you order a flag with a pole and base, making it easy to transport your flag to events and other locations. If you order the flag only, the carrying case is not included. Learn more: Feather Flag Bases, How to Install Feather Flags
Can I use my flag outside?
Yes. Our feather flags are designed for indoor and outdoor use. The weather-resistant material is built for durability in windy conditions, while fade protection helps keep your printed message vibrant. To help extend your flag’s lifespan, follow the care and installation recommendations below.
Are feather flags machine-washable?
No. Feather flags are not machine-washable. To clean your flag, hand wash it and let it air dry. Steam it if needed, and do not dry clean.
For longer-lasting flags, install them in open areas away from wires, trees and buildings. Bring your flag indoors during bad weather to help protect it from damage.
Are these flags compatible with water ballasts?
Yes. You can add a water ballast to your order using the Water Ballast dropdown on the product page.
Can I create multiple flags in the same order?
Yes. With our Versions feature, you can order multiple flags with different designs or messaging in a single order. This is useful for showcasing different products and services or identifying multiple business locations. All flags in the order must be the same size, but each version can feature different artwork and content. Learn more: Print With Versions
