Printing with UV Coating
Protect your online printing projects with a UV coating. Especially beneficial for projects that will be used frequently and handled often, it’s ideal for guarding against scratches, moisture and general wear and tear.
Part of Smartpress’ online printing services, UV coating is applied in liquid form and exposed to ultraviolet light. This light bonds the coating and dries it instantly, creating a protective barrier.

Tips & Tricks
- When you add coating to booklet covers, it coats the front, back and spine. We strongly recommend it to protect your books, magazines and catalogs from frequent handling and daily use.
- When determining gloss or matte, consider the theme or overall design of your print piece and choose the finish that coordinates the most.
