What sizes are available?

Custom door hangers are available in two standard sizes: 3-1/2″W x 8-1/2″H and 4″W x 11″H. The 4″W x 11″H format is the standard door hanger size.

What paper stocks and weights are available?

We offer door hanger printing on two coated paper stocks in a variety of point weights. When choosing a point weight, keep in mind that a higher point number indicates a thicker stock. Can I print double-sided door hangers?

Yes. You can print door hangers with black or full-color ink on one or both sides. Select the appropriate options from the Printing on the Front and Printing on the Back dropdowns on the product page. Learn more: Black vs. Full-Color Printing

Can I add a coating or laminate to my door hangers?

Yes. You can protect and finish your door hangers with ultra gloss UV or flat matte coatings, as well as gloss, matte or Soft Touch laminates.

For door hangers that will be used outdoors, we recommend gloss or matte laminate on both sides to help protect against moisture.

If you plan to write on your door hangers—for example, to add after-service notes or use them as comment cards—we recommend coating or laminating only one side. This leaves the other side uncoated and writable. Learn more: UV Coating vs. Laminate, Printing With UV Coating, Soft Touch Laminate

When should I use perforation?

Perforation is useful when you want to turn a door hanger into a tear-off coupon, contact card or other detachable piece. Learn more: Print With Perforation

Can the position of the hole be moved?

No. Door hangers come with a standard-size hole and slit designed to fit most door knobs. The hole position cannot be customized.

Can I print door hangers with specific addresses?

Yes. Variable data printing lets you personalize door hangers for individual recipients or targeted audiences. You can add specific addresses and other variable information by using the Variable Data Personalization dropdown on the product page. Learn more: Variable Data Printing

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity for door hangers is 25, and the maximum is 5,000. If you need a quantity outside this range, you can request a Custom Quote.

Will I get a proof for my door hangers?

Yes. A digital PDF soft proof will be available for review within one business day after we receive your file upload. You can review the content, format and other project details and request changes before your door hangers are printed. Learn more: How to Use a Print Proof

Can I create door hangers with different designs in the same order?

Yes. Our Versions feature lets you print multiple door hanger designs in a single order. Versions can change the design or content, but all versions must use the same size, paper stock and finish. Learn more: Print With Versions
