But now what? You may be wondering what happens after you place your order. As a customer-focused online printer, we want your order process to be as smooth as possible from placement to shipment. Here\u2019s what you can expect (and what you have to do):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you haven\u2019t uploaded your <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/support\/file-preparation\/print-ready-files\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">print-ready file<\/a>, do so as soon as you\u2019re ready.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>If <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/support\/ordering-shipping\/how-to-use-a-print-proof\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">proofing<\/a> is needed, a prepress technician will proof your design file.<ul><li>If changes are needed, we\u2019ll email you what needs to be done via your Activity Log.<\/li><li>You are responsible for making these changes. If you need assistance, the design experts on our <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/offering\/layout-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Layout Services<\/a> team can help you for an additional fee.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Once all the necessary changes have been made and you\u2019ve uploaded the new file, we\u2019ll post a proof for your review and approval.<ul><li>If you have more than one product in your order, each one will need to be approved individually.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\"><li>Once you approve your file(s), <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/support\/ordering-shipping\/your-print-job-path-through-smartpress\">your project goes to print<\/a> and you\u2019ll be notified of an <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/support\/ordering-shipping\/shipping\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estimated ship date<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\"><li>We\u2019ll then notify you when your job ships.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\"><li>Important Activity Log reminders:&nbsp;<ul><li>Throughout the process, your Activity Log is the best way to communicate with us regarding your order.<\/li><li>Changes in quantity, job specifications, shipping address, etc. should be submitted through the Activity Log.<\/li><li>Do not reply to Activity Log emails, as they\u2019re not monitored. Instead, log in to your Smartpress account, and find your Activity Log.<\/li><li>Each order will have one Activity Log thread, even if there are multiple products in it.<\/li><li>If you place another order, that order will have its own Activity Log thread.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>And that\u2019s it!
