Her parents had encouraged her artistic pursuits since age four, but as she reached young adulthood reality set in.<\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> <p>Life as a starving artist was not going to work, so she pursued a communication design major at Pratt with a concentration in advertising design. She\u2019s currently an associate creative director at <a href=\"https:\/\/rodenyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rode<\/a>\u00a0designing brands for luxury New York real estate.<\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> <p>\u201cAt my day job, everything is on the computer,\u201d she said. I know a lot about the printing process and I actually shopped around for a good printer,\u201d she said. \u201cThank God I know how to do all of this from my real job. with so much doubt,\u201d she recalls. \u201cNow, with two calendars under my belt, I feel more confident as an <a href=\"https:\/\/ajtheawful.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
