Each year, the event brings together Intelligentsia\u2019s direct-trade partners in a coffee-producing location in search of new ways to create a better beverage. The partners from around the world study and share different coffee production approaches, ideas and practices.<\/p> <!--[\/col]--><\/div> <div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-6\"><!--[col]--> <p>To brand the event and reflect its unique locales, Patterson created a logo and <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/shop\/poster-printing#cp=1&amp;cph=624\">custom poster<\/a> for each event. \u201cThe event in Guatemala was the seventh and largest,\u201d Patterson recalled. It was a nice tie-in.\u201d<\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> <p>With Intelligentsia\u2019s Itzamna brand imagery as a basis, Patterson customized the illustration with his own spin for ECW. \u201cI gave it an update, made it more interesting, added some vibrancy, texture, <a href=\"https:\/\/smartpress.com\/support\/color-ink\/color-space\">color<\/a> and drama,\u201d he said. \u201cSince it would be used as a poster, I gave it a psychedelic nod.\u201d<\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> <p>Smartpress&#8217; online printing services make poster printing a streamlined process. Designed by Patterson, it also references Guatemala\u2019s unique topography and honors the region\u2019s iconic culture, history and terrain. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bold color palette also references Guatemalan culture.
